Roundup (roundup.followroom.live) helps quiz masters write quizzes and run them at events. This page says what we keep and why. Questions: support@followroom.live.
What we keep
- Your account: your name, email address and profile picture, held by Clerk, our sign-in provider. If you sign in with Google, Google shares those three things with us and nothing else.
- Your organisation's work: quizzes, questions, the pictures, audio and video you upload, events, teams and scores.
- What players type: team names entered when a team joins an event, and the name a scorer gives.
- Presenter computers: the name you give a linked computer and when it last connected.
- Technical data: IP addresses are used to limit how quickly teams can join an event, and appear in the request logs Google Cloud keeps for 30 days.
Where it's kept
Our database and uploaded files are stored on Google Cloud in Belgium (EU); request logs are kept by Google Cloud. Accounts are held by Clerk, which may process them in the United States under its data processing terms.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the service needs: Clerk's sign-in cookies, and a qm_scorer cookie that keeps a PIN scorer signed in to one event for 24 hours. No advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
Until you or your organisation delete it. To delete your account and its data, email us.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
